Reinvigorating the tumor infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) is critical for tumor immunotherapy, and photothermal therapy (PTT) and regulation of tumor cell metabolism are effective strategies for TIL reinvigoration. In article number 1700891, Zhiyong Qian and coworkers develop a combination strategy composed of photosensitizer micelle mediated PTT and indoleamine 2,3dioxygenase (IDO) inhibitor induced IDO activity inhibition for enhanced tumor PTT and immunotherapy.
